TOYGODD: UPPER DECK ALLSTAR VINYL, MANNING AND MORE!

Hello again! It is 2008 and it is time to pick up where we left off in 2007, looking at really cool stuff! Upperdeck used to be known for just great sports cards. Now they are bringing us an even wider array of cool products. The first one is thier All Star Vinyl line of sports stars. These figures come in 3 or 4 color combos and also come as limited as 250 in an edition. They stand approximately 11" high, sometimes come with helmets (both hockey & football), balls (basketball & football) and hockey sticks. While they have only limited articulation, they certainly are some of the coolest vinyl figures to hit the mass market that I have encountered.

With the NFL Playoff games starting tomorrow I thought it would be cool to bring you 2 players who will be going up against eachother. Peyton Manning of the Indianapolis Colts & Landania Tomlinson of the San Diego Chargers. Me, I am rooting for the Chargers!

Upperdeck has also released their new line of Subcast Marvel statues. These are really heavy & substantial renditions of some of our favorite heros from the Marvel Universe. Wolverine & Ghost Rider are shown next. I have to say that I am rather impressed with the Ghost Rider. His head is translucent (nice affect), and he comes with real metal chains!
